For the cake
- 4 eggs
- 250gr brown sygar
- 450gr type Τ55 flour
- 250gr full fat milk
- 200gr extra virgin olive oil Ranis
- 3 Tsp Cocoa tahini
- Orange zest
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
In the mixer bowl with the paddle attachment beat the eggs with the brown sugar for 5 minutes at medium speed until fluffy.
Add the olive oil and continue beating at medium speed.
Add the orange zest and the flour, lower the speed and let it incorporate into the mixture.
Add the milk & baking powder, vanilla & salt.
Finally add the tahini. Pour into the cake mold and bake at 180◦C for 50 minutes.
Remove from the oven, leave for 20 minutes in the form, unmold, let cool for about 40 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
