Chicken ‘gyros’ with aromatic yogurt & corn pita bread

  • 900gr boneless chicken legs
  • 60gr sliced onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1tsp cumin
  • 1tsp coriander
  • 1tsp turmeric
  • 1tsp dry thyme
  • 50ml Castello del Barone extra virgin olive oil
  • 200gr aromatic yogurt with spearmint & lime
  • 3 corn pita breads

In a bowl put the chicken with onion, garlic, spices, yogurt, olive oil, salt & pepper.
Mix well and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
Bake at 180◦C for 30-35 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven and chop.
Serve on the pita breads along with the aromatic yogurt.
