Πικάντικη Σάλτσα Ντομάτας με Κύμινο

Spicy Tomato Sauce with Cumin

  • 60gr. extra virgin olive oil Castello del Barone
  • 8gr. chopped hot pepper
  • 600gr. Whole peeled tomato
  • 2gr. Cinnamon sticks
  • 100gr. white wine vinegar
  • 8gr. sugar
  • 5gr. salt
  • 4gr. Cumin powder

Method

Sautè the hot pepper in olive oil over medium heat so that it doesn’t get brown. Add the tomato and vinegar. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and then add all the other ingredients except the cumin. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Add the cumin and let it cool before serving.
