- 60gr. extra virgin olive oil Castello del Barone
- 8gr. chopped hot pepper
- 600gr. Whole peeled tomato
- 2gr. Cinnamon sticks
- 100gr. white wine vinegar
- 8gr. sugar
- 5gr. salt
- 4gr. Cumin powder
Method
Sautè the hot pepper in olive oil over medium heat so that it doesn’t get brown. Add the tomato and vinegar. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and then add all the other ingredients except the cumin. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Add the cumin and let it cool before serving.
